What is Zeas?
Possibly the most ancient grain and one of the basic staples of the ancient diet.
The nutritional value is beyond doubt, it’s no mistake that the roots of the word “zeidoros” (that which gives life) come from this grain. After a long time where it was almost forgotten young scientists re-discovered Zeas, mainly due to the research of the Englishman Allen. The research showed that Zeas has 40% more magnesium than other grains. Magnesium helps with cramps, like those which you encounter after a long bike ride. Magnesium also help activate the enzymes for metabolism. Zeas also contains a high level of the amino acid lysine which makes any pasta created from it easily digestible
